The Program in Swaziland
  • Mbabane, Swaziland (Southern Africa)--Agricultural Economics/Extension Training Advisor for the Swaziland Cropping/Farming Systems Project. Assessed and recommended facilities, programs, personnel, and technologies for improving capabilities in agricultural extension and information units of Swaziland's Ministry of Agriculture. Project sponsored jointly by Pennsylvania State and Tennessee State Universities.
  • Swaziland, Africa (Southern Africa)--Team Leader on a project jointly sponsored by U.S. Department of Agriculture and U.S. Agency for International Development. Assessed supply and demand of trained agricultural manpower. Developed the design strategy and model for the study. Collected data, analyzed and reported results to the government of Swaziland and participating U.S. federal agencies.
  • Swaziland, Africa (Southern Africa)--Manpower Economist for Research Triangle Institute. Conducted Human Resource Development study funded by USAID. Surveyed institutions and public and private firms to determine manpower needs and assess potentials for meeting needs.
